Juan Rivera returns for his second season as the team's full time assistant coach after a stellar career under coach DePalo.
Rivera came to NSU after serving as the best defensive player at American HS in Miami. Rivera was an impact player during his five seasons with the Sharks and was a starter in his junior and senior seasons. Over his last two seasons combined, Rivera logged 2,469 minutes, ranking second on the team during that span.
Rivera was a smart player who served in several roles on the backline. He looks to continue to bring that knowledge in his second season as assistant coach.
